Meta-MEC MCCBs shall comply with IEC 947-1 and 947-2 standards or with the corresponding standards applicable in the member countries (EN 60 947-1, 2)

Suitable for isolation, as defined by IEC 947-2

  • - Line protection

  • - Offering economical solution with compact sizes and increased interrupting capacities.
  • - Complete range of two, three and four-pole version.
  • - Employing a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip.
  • - Rating plugs to change thermal currents are available for 400 and 800AF.
  • - 3-pole ELCBs physically interchangeable with 3-pole MCCBs are available.
  • - Offering more accessories such as rear connection and extended rotary type handles.
  • - Frames made of rigid materials of engineering plastics.
  • - 400, 800AF breakers use the individual rating plug for determining the continuous current rating.

    Do you mean the rear connection unit for the MCCBs ? Please see the third page of the attached Meta-MEC MCCB leaflet, then you can see the rear connection kits. If you mean the rear connection unit, you can use up to 800A

    That is not the rust at all. That is some kind of discoloration. In fact, the plating method between line & load side terminal was some different. But the original material for terminal is same. For the line side terminal, we applied the silver plating. And for the load side terminal, we applied the tin (Sn) plating. The reason why we applied different plating method should we use was because of the conductivity. The discolored period for line side terminal is faster than that of load side because of this different plating method. However, you can use this discolored MCCBs safely because that is not the rust. We have experience to check the quality of discolored MCCBs and there´s no problem founded for quality in use except color. If you want to remove the trace of discolor, you can do it by using an rubber eraser. As we explained above, long time storage can make the discoloration of terminal. However, you can use this discolored MCCBs safely.

    The cable size for termination for 400AF is 240mm2 x 1EA and for 800AF is 240mm2 x 2EA. However, we cannot understand the exact meaning of extended terminals. So we wonder if you can use or not these cables for with & without extended terminals

    Well, some kinds of AB/GB type MCCBs employ the silver tungsten contacts but some kinds are not. The material is depends on the ampere range. The other clauses ; such as de-ionizing arc chutes and etc. ; are acceptable.
